Chris Sutton

Chris Sutton is a performer who will no doubt make you stand up, shake, clap, and holler. He's a true master in the art of storytelling with mature guitar skills, framing a truly masterful voice. He can whisper in the crowds ear one minute and rattle the walls the next. Sutton spices his show by sprinkling in sly doses of self-effacing humor, while inviting the audience closer, until they are all on board. Born and raised in West Virginia, Sutton has crafted a body of songs that are timeless while still looking back in time at the lives and language of rural, working people. He is no field recorded replica. He is another road-stamped original voice of the blues.

Kniki & Mike Beale
